Mary Lou Bourque Breaux, a native of Kaplan, LA and a resident of Maurepas, LA passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022 at the age of 86. Mary was a devout catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church. Her devotion to her faith was exhibited through her many years of service as a catechist and a lector. She enjoyed cooking and reading, but above all, she took great pleasure in spending time with her loved ones! She was a selfless, loving mother and grandmother who truly adored her family! Mary’s children are: son, Ricky Breaux (Maylinda); son, David Breaux (Angela); daughter, Cindy Mustin; daughter, Mary Ann McDonald (Bubba); son, Randy Breaux (Kim); and son, Alex Breaux (Michelle). Mary is also survived by her 12 grandchildren: Katie Breaux (Zach), Reece Breaux, Kristen Breaux, Leslie Breaux, Trevor Breaux, Brittney Rick (Danny), Cody Mustin, Monica Farrior (Michael), Chris Hurth (Will), Kaci Breaux, Kade Breaux, and Devyn Breaux and her 6 great grandchildren: Kaze Breaux, Zoey Breaux, Brayden Miller, Ava Miller, Tripp Rick, and Walker Farrior; sister, Beverly Kinler; and brother, Reule Bourque (Judy). She was preceded in death by her mother, Norine Faulk Bourque; father, Treville Bourque; and brother, Whitney Bourque. Visitation will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church (1022 N. Burnside Ave. Gonzales, LA) on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am with the Rite of Committal following at Hope Haven Garden of Memory (604 Hwy 30 Gonzales, LA).
