McKinley "Kenny" Joseph Peterson

McKinley “Kenny” Joseph Peterson passed away peacefully at his home on December 4, 2021 at the age of 67. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Linda Becnel Peterson, his children Brandon Peterson and Brandi Recio and his stepchildren Chad Falgoust and Dawn Talbot. He was the proud grandfather of Isaiah Villarreal, Cameron Villarreal, Samantha Villarreal, Brennan Villatta, Adrian Villatta, Jordan Villatta, Ellie Villatta, Brianna Jacob, Kayleigh Jacob, Ramsey Peterson, Addison Talbot, Olivia Talbot, John Talbot and great-grandfather of Sophia & Adrianna Villarreal. Kenny is also survived by his sisters Linda Pettis, Charlotte Saucier (Earl), Wyndal Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer & Luby Peterson and his siblings McCoy Peterson and Beverly Ann Ladner.

Kenny proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. He was always a hardworking man and always willing to help anyone. He was a craftsman and enjoyed carpentry. The outdoors was always somewhere he loved spending time. But most importantly to him was spending time with his family. His goofy, fun loving personality will be greatly missed by all of those that knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a night wake at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 6pm-8pm. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Holy Rosary in Saint Amant starting at 9am, a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am.
