A loving and devoted mother, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 30, 2013. Pat was 70 and a resident of Prairieville. Pat retired as a pharmacy tech with Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will resume on Wednesday from 9 am until religious services at 11 am. Entombment to follow at Hope Haven Mausoleum, Prairieville. She is survived by her special companion and fishing buddy, Sonny Guice; daughters, Donna Lynn Wilferd (Mike), Renee Hart (Wes), and Ramona Gill (Larry); sons, Don Powell (Kelly), Darryl Powell, Sr., and William Jeffrey Powell (Nellie); sister, Martha W. Smiley; brother, Leslie Westbrook (Missy); 7 grandchildren, Bryan Ayo, Jeffrey Powell, Paige Powell, Brittany George, Darryl Powell, Jr., Christopher Powell, and Darri Gill; 7 great grandchildren, Gavin Michael, Cady, Aubrie, Avery Lynn, Ty, Cane, and Xavier. She was preceded in death by her parents, Page and Millie Kinchen Wesbrook, step father, Jay Tassin and her grandson, Jay Ryan Powell.
