Patrick "Pat" Alexander Grille

Patrick “Pat” Grille passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the age of 78. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, longtime resident of Folsom, LA and current resident of Gonzales, LA. For over 15 years he and his wife Barbara lived in Sedona, Arizona where they enjoyed hiking, being outdoors and all things supernatural. He was married to his beloved wife Barbara Pechtal Grille in 1971 and they lived a long and happy life together. Pat was born on October 4, 1946 to the late Merle Griffin Grille and Alvin William Grille Sr. and was one of three children. Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his siblings; Alvin W. Grille Jr. (Ann) and Linda G. Fjeldsjo (Kaare); his nieces & nephews, Erik, Darren, Monica, Susan, Leif and Lars. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Pat was a longtime student at LSU until he decided to join the Marine Reserves at the height of the Vietnam War. He went on to work for many years in industrial sales. He and Barbara owned Grille Properties on the Northshore. For many years he was involved in thoroughbred horse racing and spent many days at the track, a true passion of his. He could often be found on the golf course enjoying a round of 18 holes. He and his wife Barbara truly had an unwavering love and enjoyed their life together wherever that took them. Pat’s “Jeopardy” knowledge, endless stories and warm smile will be missed.
