A native of New Orleans and resident of Maurepas, she passed away Monday, June 27, 2011, at the age of 45. She is survived by her mother, Ida Slay Wells; sister, Clytie Moore; brothers, John and Thomas Wells; nieces, Christie Martin, Alexis Moore; nephews, Tony Wells, Ronald Wells, Bobby Troy Bordelon, Troy Denn, Alan Denn; a close friend, Donna K. Mott; and an unbelievable amount of other loving friends. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Murray Wells; brother, Troy Wells; niece, Dawn Wells; grandfather, Jeff Slay; and grandmother, Clytie Buckley. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Wednesday, June 29, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home Thursday, June 30, from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Interment in Head of Island Baptist Church Cemetery.
