Ronald Michael Amedee

Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Boudreaux Amedee; daughters, Stacy Ricca and husband Ryan and Shelly Hooper and husband David; son, Brett Amedee and wife Carla; step-son, Jason Landry (Meredith); step-daughter, Jennifer Cummins (Robert); brother, Whitney Amedee, Jr and wife Janet; grandchildren; Stevie Triche, Justin Boudreaux, Caleb Ricca, Tyler Amedee, Whitney Ricca, Tayler Hooper, Seth and Walker Amedee; step- grandchildren, Garrett Landry and Peyton Landry, Taylor Hall and Reese Cummins; great – grandchildren, Emmi and Easton.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Ida Mae Braud Amedee, Sr.

Ronald, a US Veteran and LSU fan, enjoyed baseball, football and golf. He also enjoyed reading, family gatherings and supporting his grandkids at sporting events.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales from 9am – 11am. Funeral services will be held at 11am. Burial will be in Hope Haven Cemetery Prairieville.

The family would like to Thank Ronald’s loving caretaker Becky Boudreaux along with St. Joseph Hospice.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
