Starr "Bo" Allen Sallis

Starr Allen Sallis, 73, of Prairieville passed away on Thursday May. 4th, 2017. Mr. Sallis was born in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Sallis was a Pipefitter/welder by trade and belonged to Steamfitters Local #198 for many years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his loving wife; Betty Sallis, his daughter; Paulette Alaniz (Louis, Jr.), his sons; Jack Trahan ( Deborah), Guy Allen Sallis, Wayne Sallis, his grandchildren; Christina Alaniz, Kailey Alaniz, Serena Alaniz, Caleb Lee, Kayla LaFleur, Allen Guy Sallis, Nicholas Bye, Gerred Villar, Brit’ne Lombardo, Jonathan Pendergrass, Savana Sallis. Great grandchildren; Christopher Mullins, Gary Mullins, Sylena LaFleur, Izabel LaFleur, Maniah Sallis, Aubrey Martin and Taylor Lombardo. Mr. Sallis is preceded in death by his parents; Guy Allen and Savannah Nadine Kennimer Sallis.

Visitation will be Monday, May 8th in Ourso Funeral Home from 5 to 8pm and resuming at 9am on Tuesday May 9th until his funeral service at 11am. Mr. Sallis’s son Jack will deliver his eulogy. Burial will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories in Baton Rouge under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales.
