

A native of French Settlement and a resident of Sorrento, she passed away Friday, July 8, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 and a loving homemaker. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in law, Celeste and Randy Carpenter, of Prairieville, and Suzette Landry, of Sorrento; a son and daughter-in-law, Leslie Sr. and Anna Kling, of Sorrento; a sister, Laura Nell Schexnayder, Gonzales; two brothers, Robert James Lambert, Sorrento, and Willie Paul Lambert, Gonzales; seven grandchildren, Tina K. Mauldin, Sonya L. Blanchard, Leslie (Chop) Kling, Trey Landry, Cara C. Landry, Caleigh C. Ramagos and Caroline Carpenter; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Joseph Kling; parents, Adam and Nevie Millet Lambert; a sister, Ramona Lanoux; and two brothers, A.J. and Valmond Lambert. She was a former member of the Gonzales Bowlettes and St. Ann Catholic Church Ladies Altar Society.
