Virley Marie Lanoux, 92, a native of St. Amant, LA died on Friday, December 15, 2023. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She had true love for people, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her could tell you. She enjoyed watching birds, the beauty of flowers, but most important to her, her family. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce Villeneuve and Julia Templet Villeneuve; son, Steve Lanoux; and sister, Julie Gautreau. She is survived by son, Samuel J. Lanoux (Nancy); grandchildren, Lori Lanoux, Kristina Bernadas, and Jessica Vicknair; great grandchildren, Lathan Lanoux, Elizabeth Vicknair, Maddox Lanoux, Benjamin Bernadas; and sister, Ethel Matherne (Ron). In Lieu of Flowers the family ask that any donations be made to Holy Rosary Cemetery or Full of Grace Café. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 9:30AM until Mass of Christain Burial at 11AM. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
