Uncle Willie Gene was a special person. He was always fun to be around. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. 
Aunt Blackie and Sheree you are in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace. 

I had the honor of working with my mentor and good friend Wille at the plant for many years.. he was in TDI when I hired on in 1970 and we went to the MDI start up team from the beginning.  He was a "brutal" task master and a pleasure to work with.... dedication, perseverence, loyalty and above all a good friend..  obviously his years in the military taught him some outstanding core values
.Willie Gene will be sorely missed by all that knew him.  I know he must've been a rock in your family and you will  have a large void to fill..
My heart goes out to you in your time of loss. he was like a brother or even a father figure to me and all that had the honor to work with him

I am honored and blessed to have had Uncle Willie Gene in my life. He was truly a blessing and I will miss him. My condolences.

Rest In Peace my friend!! I will always treasure all the great and funny conversations everybody had at the round table.

Sailor, hunter, story teller, one of the funniest people on the River.  I am honored to have been able to call Willie a friend.

Many good memories and stories I could tell about Willie.  For me he was a great positive  influence in my younger years when I worked for him.    If you were lucky enough to call him friend you knew he was a genuine and true friend.  Heaven get ready for a really nice addition.

Willie was a special friend at Rubicon.  Always had a smile!  Blackie, you are in my prayers.  

More than a good boss and mentor, he was a good friend. I will think fondly of him always. 

Blacky , so sorry to hear about our good friend Willie , we sure will miss sitting with him at the round table and talking , “mainly about Darwin “ lol but we do have some good story’s , Perry and I will surly miss him and his smile , also our kids together at the river and Darwin’s boy burning the seat with spot light in Grady White , , prayers for all 💋

My relationship to Willie, 'Good Sir' to me, came late in his life and our adventures never extended much past  his living room.   There however, I experienced on each and every visit a soul that possessed a warm and friendly heart, one who was slow to speak and quick to listen, and full of wit and wisdom when he did engage you.  One who could make you laugh and make you think at the same time,  and in his eyes, there was always a twinkle, like that of Saint Nick.  My heart breaks for my own loss and all those who had the good fortune to have known him, especially for all his close and loving family,  and here, even more so for Willie's wife Blackie.  No man that I know of had any kinder and caring a partner than she.   Our heavenly Father now has Willie Gene completely wrapped up in his hands of love.  May we all feel those same loving hands on us as we grieve his loss for now,  especially  for all those who loved him and were loved by him the most.

Our condolences on Willie’s passing. Blackie , we are thinking of you and your family. We had good times at our camps and at black lake. Y’all had a good life and we are proud to have been a small part of it
