Rodney Villareal

Rodney Villareal, of Gonzales Texas passed away at the young age of 44, on Tuesday, February 01, 2011. Rodney was born on September 7, 1966 in Gonzales, TX to the late Mr. Paul Villareal Sr. and Mrs. Louise Rios-Villareal. Rodney was a wonderful little brother who always had a smile on his face. He loved to spend his time playing basketball and relaxing with his friends and family. Rodney will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Paul Jr. and Ruben Villareal and two sisters: Mary Jane Herrera and Connie Villareal.

Rodney is survived by his only son Daniel Villareal, four brothers: Richard Villareal and wife Maria of Gonzales, Edward Villareal and wife Carol of Gonzales, Rudy Villareal and wife Ester of Gonzales, Robert Villareal and wife Tina of Austin, TX; five sisters: Rosita Villareal of Gonzales, Ruth and husband Arnold Guerra of Gonzales, Anna Villareal of Gonzales, Molly Gonzales of Austin, TX; Mary Lou and husband Able Gonzales of Marble Falls, TX.

Visitation for Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm till 9:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm lead by Deacon Terry Brennan held at the Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales, TX. Services held for Friday, February 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, TX with Father Paul Razz officiating. Interment will follow at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
