Austin Peay Moody - age 83 passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012. A pharmacist and US Army veteran, he was born Saturday, December 1, 1928 in Paris, Tennessee to the late John Wesley and Alma Lee Odom Moody.
One who enjoyed rabbit hunting, and antquing, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Grace Lee Shutt Moody; son, Greg (Sharon) Moody; grandchildren, Rachel and Wesley Moody.
Funeral services will be 2:00 Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funreal Home with Mike Tidwell and Norman Slate officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: J. T. Shutt, Bill Shutt, Bob Barkewitz, Wesley Moody, Fahab Ferdowski, Hudson Wallace. Honorary: Mike Shutt, Randall Vance, Ottis Pilkinton, Glenn Burton, Bill Dunn, Jim Smith, Bob Murray, Charles Carter, W. S. Miller.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Moody at a visitation Tuesday, September 4, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
