Barbara was co-owner of Denson Disposal; she attended Vanderbilt University and worked at Bell South for a while.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bobbie Denson; daughters, Tammie Adams, Tracie (James)Locke, Faye Cox, Karen (Robert) Medley, Stacy Lawrence; son, Todd (Kendall Boesch) Payne. 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be conducted Wednesday. April 25, 2018 at 2:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Barbara at a visitation Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 3:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 10:00 until the 2:00 service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
