Age 48 of Nashville, TN passed away September 15, 2014.
He was born, February 10, 1966 to the late James C. and Nancy Geraldine Noke Jackson. He is also preceded in death by sister, Tammy Muncey; brother, Terry Jackson.
He is survived by a son, Lucas (Shancia Soloman) Sowell; grandson, Jaelyn Sowell; sister, Debbie (Jimmy) Strong; brothers, Gregory (Kathleen) Peters, Mike (Carol) Peters and Mark Jackson; pet, Baby Girl; multiple nieces, nephews and friends.
Rooster endured many obstacle's over the years and continued to fight down to the end. He was a kind and loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He may be gone, but will never be forgotten. He is loved by many and will be missed by all.
A celebration of Rooster's life will be held 11 am Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Eastland Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Peters officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will take place 11 am to 8 pm Friday and 9 am until service time Saturday.
