Carson L. Castleman - age 90 passed away Monday, August 27, 2012. Born Thursday, June 22, 1922 in Putnam County, Tennessee, he is preceded in death by his parents Foster and Alta Snider Castleman; his wife of 66 years Mabel A. Castlemanand son, Carson D. Castleman.
A US Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict, and owner of Castleman Jeweler’s, he is survived by sons, James Ronald Castleman, Jerry Randall (Foy) Castleman; sisters, Mary Kate Swallows, Anna Mae Bryan; brother, Robert Castleman; six grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Thursday, August 30, 2012 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home; burial with military honors by the US Navy will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
