Donald Wayne Powell

Donald Wayne Powell, age 77, of White House, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Donald was born Sunday, August 18, 1946 in Dickson, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Waynick Diatikar; daughter, Angela M. Boyles; brothers, Stephen R. Powell and Charles E. Diatikar.

Donnie is a veteran of the United States Navy, licensed in HVAC (plumbing and electrical) and worked in maintenance for Oscar-Meyer. He was jack-of-all-trades. Whatever Donnie done, he done well.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy M. Powell; sons, Jeffery W, (Kem) Powell, Jason P. Mitchell; grandchildren, Jordan T. (Haven) Boyles, Hayden T. (America) Boyles, Jeffery L. Powell, Tyler J. (Veronica) Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Taylor S. Boyles and Conrad L. Boyles; sister, Judy L. (Kerry) Parker.

A visitation for Donald will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

A Celebration of Life will occur Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Faith is The Victory Church, 3344 Walton Lane, Nashville, Tennessee.

Burial with Military Honors will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Garden of Love. Serving as pallbearers, Dennis Hicks, Trevor Finney, Richard Lang, Logan Powell, Jordan Boyles, Hayden Boyles; Honorary, Taylor S. Boyles.
