Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, Doug is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Brenda, their children Billy Mack and his wife Mildred, Jullie Southall and her husband Chad, and Bobby Mack; cherished grandchildren; siblings; several nieces, along with other beloved extended family and dear friends.
Doug, a dedicated security officer, retired after a career in armed guard services for the banking industry. He was a man of many hidden talents and always ready to learn something new. His younger years were spent mostly outdoors around a good fishing-hole or hunting in the woods. Later in life, Doug enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Bocephus. He also enjoyed baking and spending time with his family. We will forever treasure our precious memories made with Doug.
The family of Doug Mack has entrusted Eastland Funeral Home & Cremation Service, who are honored to serve the family during this difficult time. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 1 pm, a graveside service and inurnment, officiated by Blake Southall, will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Rd., Goodlettsville, TN.
Following the service A Celebration of Life will be held at Echo Hills Church of Christ, 1106 Campbell Road, Goodlettsville, TN.
