Eddie was one of the finest, I sure will miss talking with my friend, such a fine person and fine family.

Losing someone you love is very hard.  Heidi I want you to know that my heart goes out to you and to your family.  Eddie was a great man and his legacy at Tennessee Flea will live on forever.   May Gods word and promises comfort you today and all the days ahead.  


Sometimes people come into our lives and their just our people. We click, it’s easy to be their friend. You can not talk to or see these people for days weeks or months and when you see them again you just pick up where you left off, like you just saw them yesterday. That was a Eddie.  My friend no matter what.  We would talk cars, motors, hot wheels, laugh at people or jib jabs he made, pictures he found on the internet or pictures of his silly dog that chewed something up.  But most of all Eddie was a loving husband and father. He was always talking about how he loves his family. So happy about how Heidi had made so many accomplishments with their daughters and their business. He shared pictures and stories about each daughter and their events in life or their many talents. He was so proud of all of them. 
I’m going to miss him terribly. I will miss our Monday work days and watching Chips, cringing as all those great old cars were smashed up in each episode. Laughing at the “dy-no-mite” commercials geared toward old people ( us). I will miss the stories about his days at his dads junk yard and all the cars he worked on and drove through the years. 
I’m going to miss my dear friend, more than I can ever express.  I am going to help take care of his family to the best of my ability because I know he would do the same for me and mine. I love you Eddie and I will make you proud. 

Heidi and girls we are so sorry for your lost.Eddie was a great friend of ours. From the first day we moved in our booth five years ago it was like we knew him and Heidi all our lives. We are sure all the vendors will miss Eddie.Heidi just know if you need anything give us a shout your friends Booth 100.

I remember going to Maddie’s art show in November and we were all putting these gold stars on our foreheads because we found some gold star stickers, and I turned to Big Ed and asked if he wanted one and he had the biggest smile and said why not and i’ll never forget that because he looked so happy.

TN Flea Mall won’t be the same without Eddie’s denim shorts and orange or blue sweatshirt (HotWheels colors) racing around the mall. I teased him about wearing a Santa suit to the Holiday Open House, he refused to attend.

Eddie loved his girls, and he looked for ways to support & protect them and the vendors.  I watched his driver’s lesson with Miley in the parking lot; admired his determination to make changes to remove negativity from the mall;  appreciated the reconstructions each year to improve the mall; appreciated his HotWheels passion; and valued his friendship, life experience, and business knowledge. 

Eddie always looked forward and had BIG IDEAS, and I was truly blessed to know him and his precious girls. He will be deeply missed. I am grateful for the TN Flea business he and Heidi built to support local vendors and the economy. It is a place of laughter, friendships, shopping & memories. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Sweet Heidi, Maddie, Melissa, and Miley, I know how much Eddie loved his sweet girls. Eddie was like a brother to me like Heidi is like a sister to me. When I started my booth at Tn Flea I never dreamed that my heart and family would grow like it continues to do over five and half years later. Eddie and I shared a love for Chuck Norris and sharing pictures of “Manson.” I’m so proud of you Eddie and Heidi for starting a successful business that’s more like a big family. I love you all dearly ❤️ “Sorry, no booths are available.”
