Born in Goodlettsville, TN to the late Amos and Martha (Holliman) Davenport, Eva is also preceded in death by her husband Mr. Joe Pruett; seven sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her children Cindy Burney (Ronnie), Carmen Kirk, Harold Duane Gray (Janice); nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Rainey and numerous extended family and dear friends.
After many years of being a stay-at-home mom, Eva decided to enter the workforce in her late 40’s. She retired after 15 years of service working with Gaylord Opryland in Nashville. In her youth, she was very athletic and enjoyed basketball and bowling. Eva adored her family and never missed an opportunity to get them together. Later in her years she had a new-found love for auto racing. Her memory will live in our heart forever.
A graveside service officiated by pastor Jordyn Graves will be held at 10:30am, Friday, July 28, 2023 in the Garden of Love, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1150 S. Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, TN.
