Fred T. Sadler Jr. passed on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 80. Born Saturday, June 23, 1945, in Madison, Tennessee, he was a resident of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Teddy and Clara Swindle Sadler.
A retired educator and coach, teaching at Stratford, Antioch and Hunters Lane. He was a member or Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoyed watching baseball, working in his yard and researching history.
Fred is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lila; daughter, Shawn Roach; son, Boyd Sadler and his wife Michelle; grandson, C. J. Roach; granddaughters, Josclyn Mohler, Laura Wright and her husband, David, Shauna Poindexter and her husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Reid Ragland, Hannah Ragland, Bailee Ragland, Lilly Wright, Livie Wright, Casen Poindexter.
Family and friends will gather to remember Fred at a visitation Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
Private family only burial will be in the Garden of The Last Supper at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Pastor Jeff DeWees officiating .
