Ivey Jean Miller

Mrs. Miller was born Wednesday, June 26, 1946 in Lubbock, TX to the late J.W. Carr and Cleo B. Carr and she was also preceded in death by her husband Jerry D. Miller.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her daughter, Lesa (Stacy) Newman of Lebanon, Tennessee; sister, Naomi (Gary) Hubbard of Lubbock, Texas; brothers, Darrell Carr of Springlake, Texas; David Carr of Springlake, Texas; Sister-in-law, Linda Miller Warren of Smithville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Cody Fletcher of Springfield, Tennessee; Makayla Talbott of Smyrna, Tennessee and great-grandchild, Weston J. Fletcher.

Mrs. Miller was a fun loving wife, mother and nana. Her daughter and grandchildren were her whole world! She was always there for her family and never failed to make them smile with her expressive goofy nature and always made sure to let them know she loved them. She was the light in their lives and the role model they all strive to be.

Mrs. Miller loved crocheting, sewing, dancing, good western movies especially John Wayne and most importantly she loved chocolate and Dr. Pepper.

Mrs. Miller will be missed dearly; her memories will forever be carried in our hearts.

The family has requested a Graveside service for Mrs. Miller that will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Bro. Larry Graves officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Fletcher, Jeremy Warren, Cody Talbott, Chris Newman, Jonathan Newman and John Brown.
