James O. "Joe" Sanders, age 65, passed away Decmeber 8th, 2014. Preceded in death by parents Arnold and Cathren Sanders; brother Earl Ray Sanders and grandson Ronald Ryan Rich. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anita Sanders; daughters, Cynde Rich, Christi (Jimmy) Ryan; grandchildren, Raechel Rich, Joshua Rich, Cassandra Sanders and Cheyenne Ryan. Brothers, Griffin Sanders and Milford Sanders.
Joe was a operating engineer at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant for 12 years and was the owner of Sanders Painting in Nashville for many years. He was veteran of the United States Air Force and currently a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Antioch.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10th from 4-8 P.M. with services on Thursday at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Eastland Funeral Home with Bro. Al Henson officiating. Burial will be at 2PM Thursday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram with Bro. Larry Lee officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Rich, Matthew Sanders, Steven Welch, Bubba Morris, Joshua Rich, Chuck Cressell and Ray Massengale.
