Jewell Frances Butler, age 95, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Jewell was born Friday, August 17, 1928 in Nashville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by her parents, Jewel Alee and Octa Oressa Nolen Wills; her husband, Thomas W. Butler and sister Bettye West.
A member of First Baptist Church in Ridgetop, Tennessee and home maker, she is survived by her children, Lynn (John) Powell, Thomas (Debbie) Butler, David (Tracey) Butler, Kathy (Alan Tomlinson) Brown and Linda (Ricky) Waychoff; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Jewell will be held Monday, February 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will follow after the visitation at 2:00 PM with Bro. Ralph Carter officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Garden of The Last Supper. Family and friends will service as pallbearers.
