Sending so much love at such a sad time.  Would just like to say John brought us so much fun and laughter in our life. Feel like lost a friend although we never met but his humour and fun will continue to make us smile on our badest days and l so thank him for that.

John was such a huge influence on our lives.  In our early years of marriage, he loved us and encouraged us and also inspired us in the years afterwards.  We will certainly miss his huge smile, tender heart, and the way he shared love with all he met.  We will see you in Heaven, John.  Lula, may the God of all comfort hold you close.  We love you so much.

If you knew my dad at all, you knew he had a great sense of humor!  One of my fondest memories was of daddy explaining to me how ice cubes are made. He told me that if I was really quite and opened the freezer door very slowly, I would be able to see the eskimos making the ice.  At my tender age and because I believed everything my daddy told me, I could actually see those eskimos running behind the pork chops when I opened the door!  There are many, many other memories that I will keep with me the rest of my life.  Daddy was a veteran of two wars and told people funny stories about the wars he served in.  He was also a very talented artist.  God blessed him with a long and fruitful life, and he will always be in my heart.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Lu, so sorry to hear about John, you two were the best neighbors I've had. John was a great man.

You were a light to all you met dear Daddy and I know you are shining still.

Dear Daddy, I wish I could wish you a Happy Birthday in person but I know you are watching over all of us and can hear me. You touched so many lives with your warm smile and amazing talent and you will be missed. I know you are with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that you had such a wonderful and real relationship with.
