Joyce A. Sanders

Preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 65 years, Auburn Eugene Sanders, Jr. as well as her mother Lola Hunter Parks, Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Debbie Sanders; sons Richard (Mary) Sanders, Mark (Rebecca) Sanders; grandchildren Steven (Shannon) Sanders, Kirk (Melissa) Taylor, Ryan Taylor, David (Christine) Sanders, Julie (Jason) Sanders, Josh (Christy) Taylor, Lauren (Dalton) Patterson, Spencer Sanders, Chandler Sanders and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sanders retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board and was a member of Cherry Mound Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, cherished her family and of course, loved Elvis Presley too!

Visitation for Mrs. Joyce Sanders will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and again on Monday, January 9 beginning at 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Greg Young and Pastor James Kilgore officiating, all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Mrs. Sanders' grandsons.

The family would like to extend a very special "Thank You" to Adoration Hospice and Dr. Paul Porter for their loving care and dedicated support.
