Born on September 30, 1927 to the late Robert H. Davenport and Beulah Mae Davenport of Woodbury, Tennessee. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W Robertson, brothers, Robert Davenport, Jr. and Roy Brown; Sister, Loretta Elliston; granddaughter, Tamela S Eden
Survived by daughters, Deborah (Ron) Tefertiller of Dunlap, Kathy (Gary) Allred of Hendersonville; granddaughter, Leah (R.J.) Gossmann of Georgia; step granddaughters, Courtney Watson, Lauren (Jay) Trevathan and Annie (Tim) Hobbs; great grandchildren, Heather and Shelby Eden, Myah and Brynn Gossmann step great grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, Emma, Harper, Trey and Luke; great great grandchildren ; Carmen, Tucker, and Millie and a host of very special nieces and nephews.
She retired in 1988 from Ambrose Printing Company after 31 years of service. Kathleen was an understanding and encouraging mother, poet, kitchen singer, seamstress, artist, and cook who delighted in sharing her talents with family and friends. She modeled patience, kindness, loyalty, and love to all who knew her. She made every holiday special and always treated everyone to homemade pecan pies and delivered her homemade fudge to friends and neighbors.
She grew up during the Great Depression and knew how to make extravagance from simplicity and took nothing for granted. She instilled hard work, integrity, and resourcefulness into both of her daughters. She selflessly cared for both her parents and her husband during the end of their lives and taught the meaning of love, respect, and honor.
She will be forever missed
Services to be held on Thursday June 6th at 12pm officiated by Pastor John L McLendon, Jr. of GodWhy Church with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with family will be one hour prior to service time. Memorial donations can be made in Kathleen's honor to American Cancer Society
