Leland was a Korean War Veteran 1949-1953 served on the USS Caliente (AO-53) Commissaryman Third Class. He retired from the United States Postal Service 35 Years Service, Nashville, TN (Broadway Office).
Preceded in death by Wife, Mary Frances (Rodgers) Turnbo
Survived by his daughters, Mary Darlene Turnbo (Doug Hayes) and Angela Kay Turnbo Ingram (Jack);
son, Mark Anthony Turnbo (Donna); grandsons, Daniel Lucas Hart (Amanda) and Joshua David Turnbo.
A funeral service will be conducted 12pm Monday, August 8, 2016 with Pastor Phil Martin officiating at Eastland Funeral Home. A Military Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation with the family will be held Saturday from 4pm until 8pm, Sunday from 2pm until 6pm and Monday from 11am until 12pm at the funeral home.
Our Dad loved flowers, however, if you wish to make a donation, the family ask that you do that to Alive Hospice (Madison Campus) in his memory.
