Born in Cottontown, Tennessee, on Thursday, July 16, 1936, Ms. Richardson was a homemaker and a loving mother to her nine children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers and sisters, and her son, Thomas Edward Richardson.
She is survived by daughters, Norma Jean Richardson, Sharon Faye Knight, Brenda Gail Hudson, Beverly Ann Sziklai, and Marilyn Elizabeth Richardson; sons, James Merrell Richardson, Donnie Wayne Richardson, and Thomas Brady Richardson, III; sisters, Louise Ward and Betty Sue McCormick; brother, James Russell Summers; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will take place, in the Chapel of Eastland Funeral Home, on Friday, March 14, at 1:00 pm, with Bro. Lonnie Gable officiating. Family and friends will gather for a visitation, beginning at 10:00 am, and continuing until service time. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, in Madison.
