Miles "Butch" Frost

Miles “Butch” Frost of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 24th, 2022. Butch had recently celebrated his 73rd birthday on July 5th. He is survived by his loving wife, Alice, of 53 years; son, Cody Frost, and his wife, Kacey Frost, along with his granddaughter, Josey Frost. He also leaves behind his sister, Sissy Thomas, and her husband, Jim; his sister, Beth Frost, and his brother, Robin Frost, and his wife, Tammy. Butch is preceded in death by his parents, Josephine “Jo” Frost and Miles C. “Coach” Frost.

Butch played football for his father at Goodlettsville High School before going on to play at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He loved to work and enjoyed a very successful career with Siemens Electrical before continuing with his own contracting and sales business. He was still working at age 73 and was not planning to slow down. His proudest accomplishment was being an exceptional father, husband and, most recently, grandfather.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 28th from Noon until 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Humane Society of Sumner County, Tennessee.
