Patti Beth Richard

Born in Nashville, TN on September 26th, 1960, Patti attended East Nashville High School where she graduated #7 in her class, and went on to pursue an Associates in Office Administration from Belmont University. Though she excelled in every office job she held, Patti was a woman of many talents. She had a creative streak that shone brightly through her varied passions, the most memorable and well known being her cake decorating business, Patti Cakes. When her ceiling wasn't covered in icing, she enjoyed traveling near and far, going to the movie theater, and exploring local festivals with her friends and family.

Patti is survived by her daughter, Cassidy Richard; her mother, Jane Thompson; her sister, Debbie and Fred Thomas; her brother, Stan and Karen Thompson; her sister, Robin and Dale Robertson; her brother Ben Thompson; her brother Tim and Shari Thompson; her nieces Jennifer Hutchings, Talon Bell, and Ellen Robertson; and her nephews Aston and Alex Thompson.

Patti will be remembered for her infectious laugh, uncanny ability to turn just about anything into a song, and the immense amount of joy that she shared with everyone in her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Patti's name to the Crisis Pregnancy Center. Patti was passionate about women helping women and this is the charity that her Heart Sisters Sunday School class at First Baptist Hendersonville sponsors.

A visitation for Patti will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 PM.
