Shirley Lee Batey of Nashville, TN gained her wings on July 23, 2025 at the age of 53.
She is survived by her 5 children, Heather Strawn, Jason Batey, Michael Sweeney, Mary Sweeney and Samantha Patterson; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley is preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Batey; father, Edward Batey Sr,; brothers, Michael Batey Sr. and Edward Batey Jr.; nephew, Michael Batey Jr.; and her long time partner Robert Patterson.
