She worked for Jack Daniels for over 25 years where she was instrumental in creating and establishing “The Jack” as one of the world’s premiere BBQ competitions. She also served on the Kansas City Bar-B-Que Society board, helping to facilitate countless BBQ competitions both locally, as well as internationally. Her impact on the world of BBQ will be felt for years to come.
Tana was a true force. She was tenacious, full of humor and never met a stranger. She loved traveling, particularly so to Ireland and Switzerland. She enjoyed gardening, watching classic movies, UT Vols football, and most importantly, spending time with her large extended family.
