She was born March 17, 1926, in Dickson, Tennessee, and is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Thomas and Esther Kathleen Adler (Dolly) Bennett, and husband James O. Covington.
She is survived by devoted family: daughter, Donna Bilbrey and her husand Wayne; granddaughter, Amanda Bilbrey Trombly and husband Jeff.
