It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of our beloved Anita Pablo Atoigue, who left us on July 26, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on August 5, 1957, in Guam to Alfonso and Dolores, Anita lived a vibrant and extraordinary life filled with love, laughter, and boundless energy.
Anita was a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, Rudy Atoigue, whom she began dating at the tender age of 13. Their enduring love story, which carries on in Rudy’s heart, was the foundation of a family that includes their two cherished children, Shona Pulu and Ryan Atoigue. She was a doting grandmother to her three granddaughters, Sciorra, Shyla, and Nesta, and five grandsons, Matthew, Brazen, Zaylor, Mason, and Malosi. Anita’s legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Gianna, Kason, David, and Kea.
Anita was known for her meticulous nature, especially when it came to cleaning. Her daily rituals included vacuuming and laundry, driven by her aversion to messes. Her love for the color green, Diet Coke, and high heels mirrored her vibrant personality. She had an exceptional gift for making people laugh, always with a joke or a playful prank. Her humor and joy were as infectious as her culinary skills, and she was recognized far and wide as the finest in the kitchen.
Anita’s free-spirited nature shone through her love for scary movies and her penchant for giving everyone playful nicknames like Stella, Poochi, Morris, Tanana, Dinky, and Ding. Her love of fashion was matched only by her zest for life and her boundless capacity for fun.
Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and an irreplaceable sense of joy to all who knew her. Anita’s legacy is one of love, humor, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rest in peace, Mama. Your laughter, love, and legacy will forever be in our hearts.
