Claude grew up in Hawaii where he graduated from Leilehua High School. After graduation, he married the love of his life, Kathy, and together they raised two girls. He worked for Pizza Hut & Foodland before joining the Army in 1982. After serving his country for 6 years, he returned to Foodland where he began a long and successful career in management and human resources. After leaving Hawaii in 1992, the family moved to Arizona, then Indiana and Virginia, before returning to settle in AZ in 2006. Claude was a member of many churches over the years, where he faithfully served the Lord in many capacities, from teaching classes, to counseling, to leading on the elder board. He was happily married for 46 years and was a devoted family man. He loved traveling, shopping, spoiling his grandkids, and being goofy and silly whenever he could. He was a gentle and kind soul, full of wisdom and integrity. He will be greatly missed.
