Dolores Gretta Hagge

26,1947 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Douglas and Grace Endy.

Dolores was a graduate of Oley Valley High School and McCann’s School of Business. In her early

years, she was employed by Bachman’s Pretzels and later became an insurance agent, from which she

retired.

She married Barry in 1970 and, shortly after, they welcomed their daughter Cindy. She and Barry were very

active members of Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), and served on various committees at the local, state and national level. She was also an avid roller skater and spent many hours in the local skating rink and traveling to competitions with her family.

She spent many years being a Skater Mom and later, an amazing Skater Nana. After Barry’s passing in 2014, she decided to pack up and move to Arizona to be with “the kids.” She continued to be a Skater Nana and then Gymnastics Nana. She was a very proud Nana of her girls - Taryn and Mady.

She will be deeply missed by those who knew her, but she is now with Barry at the skating rink in the

sky.

A graveside service will be held at 11am, Tuesday, October 8 at the UCC Cemetery (Covered Bridge Road, Oley, Pennsylvania). Directly following the service, a luncheon will be held at Gianotti's Country Manor on Pricetown Road.
