John was born on January 12, 1961, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Melvin and Joan Baum. He was a loving son, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Baum, his mother, Joan Baum, and his brother, Thomas Baum. John leaves behind cherished memories for all who knew him.
He is survived by the love of his life, Kathryn Wilson, his brother Scott Baum (Deb), and his sisters Susan Ochoa, Sally Baum, Sherry Hamilton (Jim), and Joanie Schmitt (Tom). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever remember him with love.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate John's life will be held on February 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Chapel in Goodyear, Arizona.
John leaves behind cherished memories for all who knew him. His presence in our lives will be deeply missed. He will be forever in our hearts.
