Mary Jane graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School and Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. She married Robert Smyrl in 1980. She was a teacher with the School District of Philadelphia for 30 years. In her free time, she was a world traveler and enjoyed spending time researching her family history and genealogy.
MaryJane is survived by her sister Patricia Angelini and brother Richard Smith.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob Smyrl and her parents John and Sara Smith.
