Ralph was a veteran of the United States Marines and served during the Vietnam War. He taught math and auto mechanics. In his free time, he enjoyed watching old television shows like Perry Mason, Nero Wolfe, and Runpole of the Bailey. He also liked war movies and anything about World War II. Most people knew to not get into a discussion with him about politics, religion, or education.
He was a generous man who will be missed.
