Sherri Riddle Helmuth passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of laughter, Sherri brought joy and warmth into every room she entered. She was funny, loving, and above all, fiercely devoted to her family. A proud mother to Steve, Nancie, Tom, and Kurt, Sherri made it her life’s mission to create a home filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

She is survived by her children: Steve and Susanna, Nancie and Kevin, Tom and Susie, and Kurt and Kymberlee. She was deeply loved by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is now reunited with the love of her life, Alfred Helmuth, who passed in 2007. The two met in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before beginning their journey together that led them to California, and eventually to a peaceful retirement in Arizona. Their love was the kind that inspired others — full of adventure, affection, and companionship. The couple loved to travel, especially with friends, and embraced every opportunity to see the world and make new memories.

Sherri adored socializing and never missed a good game of bingo. Whether she was cracking jokes, sharing stories, or simply being present, her energy lit up every gathering. She treasured time with her two sisters, her children, and extended family, and always made holidays and family get-togethers feel magical.

Sherri leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. Her memory will be cherished by her children, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her sisters, and countless friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and joy.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A celebration of life will be held at Robson Resort, 15833 W Clubhouse Drive, Goodyear, Arizona on Saturday May 10th at 3:00 p.m.
