

Thomas Cunningham, 85, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Goodyear, Arizona. He was born on November 30, 1938, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Thomas Woodrow and Edna Ellen Cunningham.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Tom lived a life that reflected his love for family and his passions. He met his beloved wife, Mary Ann, in Kansas City, and they were married on July 3, 1957. Together, they raised three children: Theresa (deceased), John (wife Vickie), and Kimberly (husband Larry). In 1968, Tom moved his family to Colorado, where he built the dream home he had always envisioned.
Tom was a man of many interests, with a deep passion for collecting. Over the years, he built an impressive collection of stamps, carnival glass, and autographs. He was especially proud of his collection of autographs and enjoyed going to baseball games to expand it. Tom and Mary Ann retired to Sun City in 2009, where Tom was able to fully indulge in his love for collecting baseball autographs and watching the Arizona Diamondbacks, his favorite team.
Beyond his hobbies, Tom’s work ethic and dedication were evident in his 25 years as a route salesman for Sinton’s Dairy. He was a kind and giving man, always putting his family first and sharing his love through actions and words. He will be remembered for his generosity and his loving nature.
Tom had a deep appreciation for family gatherings, especially during his favorite season, Christmas. He cherished his children and was proud of their accomplishments, as well as his own achievements, including the novel he wrote and the home he built in Colorado.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann; his children, John and Kimberly; his grandchildren, David, Chelsea, Kelsey, and Jacob; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Mike and Dennis Cunningham; his sister, Katheryn Balding; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Tom leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and a life well-lived. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
