William "Bill" Lopez Padilla 85 of Avondale, Arizona, passed away on Oct 10, 2025. Bill was born on April 30, 1940 to William and Frances Padilla. Bill loved playing the guitar, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an outgoing persona and was always ready to lend a helping hand when needed.
William graduated from ASU with a Bachelor of Arts and then completed a Master's from NAU. He taught for several years then went on to the Arizona Department of Education where he worked for the Migrant Program. After retiring from the Arizona Department of Education he went on to work for Estrella Charter High School where he worked 25 years. Bill loved working with his students and loved helping them reach their education goals.
He is survived by his Wife Irma Padilla of 42 years, two Sons Christopher and Raymond, a daughter Debra, sister Sylvia, and 6 Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill will be loved and missed forever but is now resting in peace.
