Al was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 12th, 1955. He was married to Nancy Waldron Mackey on March 17th, 1990.
Al had a career in Real Estate, most recently working for Remax. He had a deep passion for Baseball, coaching from little league, travel ball, as well as high school at Olympia High School and Lake Highland Prep. Al also enjoyed giving his time however he could to help others, as well helping out the players and families however he could.
Al is survived by his wife Nancy Waldron Mackey, his son AJ Mackey and his wife Davina Knauer Mackey.
Al is also survived by his 2 sisters Marilyn Mackey Obiecunas and Linda Mackey Scovern
Service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL. on Sunday, October 19th from 2pm-5pm.
