Albion Percy, age 85, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 with his family by his side. He was a devoted husband to his wife of 43 years, Susette, and a loving father and grandfather to his children and grandchildren. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and retired from the US Customs Service as a supervisory inspector. Nothing was more important to him than family, and his grandchildren gave him his greatest pleasure. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Al is survived by his wife, Susette, sons, Albion(Socorro) Percy Jr, Los Angeles, CA, Radclyffe (Mariel) Percy, St Croix, USVI, Brandon Percy, Melbourne, FL; daughters, Marissa (Fernando) Valladarez, Windermere, FL, and Arianne (James) Cobb, Altamonte Springs, FL; and grandchildren, Andrea and Elijah Valladarez and Kirra Cobb. Funeral Service will be on Monday, November 25th at 11 am at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Gotha, FL with graveside service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, or a charity of your choice.
