Alice G. Polek, 80, of Orlando, FL went home to be with the Lord on Weds. May 31, 2017. She was born on February 17, 1937 in Boston, MA to the late Edward and Marie Murphy. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Orlando. Alice touched many with her kindness, wisdom, and love. She definitely deserves her wings. Family and friends could always count on Alice for her dedication to the Lord and prayers for us daily. Alice is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Don) Smithers, Darlene (Don) Stewart, and Charlene (Nick) Lane, brother, Edward Murphy, sister, Mary Ann Montgomery, 8 grandchildren, and 16 greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00am at the church. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park with a reception to follow at the church.
