Angeline LaCava-Barbieri

Angeline S Barbieri, 82, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on March 16, 2022. She was born to Vincent Rindone and Marie Angelini on August 28, 1939.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert LaCava. Angeline remarried to Nicholas Barbieri and they lived together in New Jersey and Leesburg, Florida. She is survived by her 4 children: Robert LaCava (Shirley), Vincent LaCava (Scarlett), Jean Cole (Brad), and stepson Nick Barbieri (Karen). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Lauren, Stephanie, Robert, Rachael, Ashlyn, Nicholas, Vincent, Alyssa, Sarah, and Emily and 2 great-grandchildren, Hannah and Hailey.

Angeline graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School. Angel enjoyed traveling and many outdoor activities. Angel spent her last 17 years traveling the world with her close companion Karl, who was with her when she took her final journey.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2022 from 6-8pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734. A Catholic Service Will be Held at Noon at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1330 Sunshine Ave, Leesburg, FL 34748 followed by the committal service at Woodlawn. A celebration of Angel’s life will follow
