Asa graduated from Greenville High School and married the love of his life, Betty Gay Logan on November 12, 1959. He was an Executive in Telecommunications and was a proud veteran of the US Air Force.
He worked for United Telephone, Sprint and Fiamm Batteries.
Asa was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Bishop. He had a passion for woodworking, airplane/ auto mechanics and charity work.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Gay Waters; his children, Aaron and Ammon Waters; his grandchildren, Abra, Ayla, Spencer, Nelson, Brittany, Victoria,and Brandon Waters. He is also survived by his brothers, Henry and William Waters.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida. A visitation will be held on Monday, August, 30th at 6:00- 8:00 pm. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 31st at 10:00 am where military honors will be rendered.
