Bernard J. “Bernie” Kurek, 69 of Clermont, FL passed away on Jan. 19, 2011. He was born on Oct. 19, 1941 in Richmond, VA. He worked as an accountant prior to his retirement and he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish. Bernard is survived by his loving wife, Vickie; his son, Joe Kurek and wife Susan; his granddaughters: Sarah and Lauren Kurek; his brother, Kenneth Kurek and sister, Kathryn Ward.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 21 from 2 -4 PM and 6 – 8 PM. Funeral Service will be Saturday, Jan. 22 at 10 AM in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Clermont, FL.
