She was one of ten children. She was married to Prince Doctor for 40 years, before his passing in 1997. They moved to Orlando in 1969, after Prince’s retirement from the military. Together, they had five children; Sabrina Pierre-Louis, Adele Doctor, Lori Ellison, Victor Doctor and Cecelia Marshall; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She attended First Baptist Orlando for over 20 years and read her bible every day. In addition to spending time with her family, she loved to travel. Some of the places she visited included the Grand Canyon, New Orleans, Hawaii, Jerusalem, New York and Colorado. She also enjoyed volunteering, sewing, knitting and watching game shows. She was very strong and independent and often responsible for packing and moving her household to a new military base while her husband served overseas. She was proud to be a part of a military family. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren she was simply “Granny”. She will be missed by her family and friends.
