BETTY LOU (BUCKMASTER) GEORGE, age 90, passed away from the trials of this earth into the arms of her Heavenly Father on September 29, 2012 in Kettle Falls, WA with her family at her side. She was born the daughter of Edwin and Alice (Wiggenton) Webb in Paw Paw, MI on August 5, 1922. She moved to Winter Park, FL in 1949 with her husband Bert
Buckmaster and resided there until 2011. For the last year, she has lived with two of her sons in Kettle Falls, WA. Betty and her husband Bert raised three sons and together started Fairbanks Northside Pharmacy. They were active in their church and together taught their children the importance of faith, hard work, and living a life of putting others above themselves. Betty was preceded in death by her mother and father; three brother, Charles, Richard, and Clarence Webb and by her husband Bert Buckmaster in 1979. Betty remarried Charles George in 1983. She enjoyed good health all of her life. God created Betty with a beautiful spirit. She was loved, respected, and a blessing to all who knew her. Betty was one of the kindest and gentlest of God's children. Although she will be greatly missed by her family, we are certain that our father Bert is rejoicing with her now that they are reunited. After learning that her recent illness was terminal, Betty told her family "I can not promise you I will be here all of your life, but I can promise you I will love you for the rest of mine." Mom, you will always be loved by us and we will meet with you once again in Heaven. Betty is survived by her husband, Charles George and his daughter Vicki Rose; three sons, Ronald Buckmaster (Pharmacist, former owner of Fairbanks Pharmacy), Robert "Bucky" Buckmaster (Attorney), and Larry Buckmaster (Pharmacist) and his spouse Louise Buckmaster; grandchildren Michael Buckmaster, Kathy (Buckmaster) Dees, Matthew Buckmaster, Chad Buckmaster, David Buckmaster, Beth (Buckmaster) Stevenson and Amy (Buckmaster) Devore; great grandchildren Britt Buckmaster, Savanna Dees, Emily Buckmaster, Sydney Buckmaster, Tova Buckmaster and MacPherson Devore. A private graveside service for the family will be held at a later date where Betty will be laid to rest next to her beloved Bert. Thanks Mom and Dad for being such loving and caring parents. May you both rest together in the arms of the Father in Heaven. Arrangements entrusted to Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
